Mrs. Kennedy is our new seventh-grade Social Studies teacher. She started teaching at 30 years old. She has always wanted to work with kids and has in total taught for 19 years! The grades she taught were, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Since she is new to the school my partner and I were wondering if she minded that our school had no walls and she claimed that it took a while for her to get used to but in a few weeks, it was like the only person she really heard was herself teaching and that was it! To become a teacher, she went to Marywood to get a Master’s degree. While she finds teaching comes naturally to her, she also finds some parts difficult. Multi-level students are tough for her to teach. She always has to help different people with different levels of work. She arrives at WSIS early and sets everything out early for her students so that everything is ready for the day. She loves to read, and her favorite shows are anything that are about true crime. She also likes ice cream, the season of fall, and dogs!
