Silly Controversial Questions

Everyone has opinions on things, and they are very different from each other. One way to see how people think and their personality is to ask them questions. So here are some silly controversial questions you and your friends could answer.  

  • Is a hotdog a sandwich? 

If you think about it, a sandwich has meat or other things in between bread. Although a sandwich has two pieces of bread, and a hotdog is one piece of bread.

  • Is cereal a soup?

A soup has broth (which is the milk) and vegetables or other add-ins (which is the cereal). Except, cereal is not cooked or boiled. So it could not be a soup.

  • Do dogs have four legs or two legs and two arms?

We can’t walk on our arms, so dogs must have four legs. Although, dogs have knees on their hind legs and wrist joints on their front ones. So, they have. . .?

  • What came first? The chicken or the egg?

Many think that the chicken came first because a chicken egg has other things other animals (except a chicken) won’t have. On the other hand, the egg could have come before the chicken. Of course, not the chicken egg, but it could evolve. 

  • What is the right way to pronounce GIFs?

Based on popularity, gif is more common, but still many pronounce it as jif. 

  • Is dance a sport?

Many people think dance is a sport. It has teams for competition and has physical activity like a sport. However, people also think that dance is only a form of art, so they consider it a hobby rather than a sport.

  • Is water wet?

Wet is a term used to describe how water feels. When you wash your hands with water, your hands will get wet. On the other hand, if you put water on water it will just be more water. Although, when something is wet, water molecules go on top of it. So when water molecules go on top of each other, water is wet.

  • Is mayonnaise an instrument?
