The cross country season for 2023 ended on October 21st at districts. Districts was located at Lakeland. They practiced hard and did a great job at all their meets, including districts. They were excellent all season. They finished 1st place in districts. I asked a few of the runners for their “words of wisdom” for anyone who’s thinking about joining the cross country team when they get in 7th and/or 8th grade. Seamus Wallace says, “You got it if you believe you can do it.” Carter Bolas says, “The work is hard but the results are worth it.” Rachel Pakistan says, “It takes a lot of work but in the end it’s worth it.” I hope you consider joining next year.
