Do you love to cook? Do you love soup? If so, then this is the perfect article for you. Today I will share with you how to make one of my favorite dishes: butternut squash soup. If you want, follow the instructions below.

Ingredients:
- 6 tablespoons chopped onion
- 4 tablespoons margarine/butter
- 6 cups peeled and cubed butternut squash
- 3 cups chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon dried marjoram
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
Directions:
- Roast squash at 350 degrees for an hour.
- Let the squash cool completely, and then peel the squash.
- In a large saucepan, saute onions in margarine or butter until tender.
- Add in squash, water, bouillon, marjoram, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Bring to boil.
- Puree squash and cream cheese in a blender or food processor in batches until smooth.
- Return to the saucepan, and heat through.
- DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL.
- Ready to serve.
