“My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, student-centered, and helpful.” Could you guess which teacher has this teaching style? It’s Ms. Corby!! We interviewed Ms. Corby for the upcoming talent show. She is going to be one of our judges. When we interviewed Ms. Corby, we learned a lot about her interests and teaching style.
We interviewed Ms.Corby and the responses were very interesting! We asked her “How would you describe your teaching style?” She stated, ”I would describe my teaching style as relaxed, friendly, student-centered, and helpful.” In addition, we discussed what her greatest challenge in teaching was. After much thought, she felt her greatest challenge was when the students spoke another language. Moreover, she then began to inform us of her favorite lesson to teach. She mentioned that she likes to teach idioms in her advanced classes. Furthermore, to the previous question, Mrs. Coby said her favorite subjects to teach are English and reading.
In conclusion, we learned a lot about Mrs. Corby’s struggles and successes with teaching in this interview. For instance, a couple of her struggles were her students who speak a different language and some students not listening to her. One of her favorite topics to teach is idioms in her advanced classes. She also mentioned after the interview that even though some students misbehave, she will still give them another chance. Ms. Corby is excited to be a part of this year’s Talent Show. We hope you learned as much as we did about Ms. Corby! Thank you for being a judge Ms. Corby!
