Drew Barrymore chose the role of Casey Becker, the girl that got killed in the start of the movie. Fun fact: Drew Barrymore accidentally dialed 911 while on set. In addition to Billy being the main killer, so was Stu Macher. The voice of the ghostfaces is Roger Jackson.

The saddest death in Scream 1 is probably that of Casey Becker. Dewey Riley got stabbed a total of 1 time. Dewey and Gale started dating in the middle of the movie. But later in the other movies, they get married but divorced in the other movies. The movie was filmed in Northern California. The fictional town in the show is Woodsboro. It’s been confirmed that Woodsboro was a fictional town and is not a real town.

The Scream movies were inspired by the real-life “Gainesville Ripper”. The producers were not convinced the mask was scary enough, but when they made the production, it was proved wrong. The film was set in New York City, but filmed in Montreal, Canada. In the series, Sidney’s mother died. She had thought that Cotton Weary had killed her because he was the last one with her, but then it was soon revealed that Billy and Stu had killed Sidney’s mom.

Overall, the serial killers were Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. At the end, after Sidney and Gale killed Billy and Stu, they ended up surviving their injuries and being just fine. After this movie, the production came out with six other movies, being sequels and prequels.
