“Those who stand for nothing, fall for anything,” – Alexander Hamilton. Alexander was a founding father who played a big part in the American Revolution. He was also the “Money guy”. He was born on January 11th in the year 1755 or 1757, but we’re unsure because it was never really confirmed. His parents were Rachel Fauctte and James Hamilon. He formed a close bond with Aaron, who ultimately led to his demise.
The American Revolution started on April 19th, 1775, and it lasted till September 3rd., 1783. Alexander always had a hunger to fight; ever since he was a kid, he wished for a war because he was poor. He was known as the “Money guy,” and after the war, he was the first Secretary of the Treasury. The “Money Guy,” which meant he took care of the American financial system and all that fun stuff.
His parents were not married when Alexander was born. James, his father, ended up abandoning his family when Alex was 10 (also Alexander was born on the British Island of Nevis). Alexander’s mother, Rachel, passed away due to illness when he was around 11 or 13 years old.
When he was 19, he went to New York, that’s where he met Aaron Burr. They had a weird friendship; they either hated each other or liked each other. In 1780 he met his wife. Eliza Hamlion, they got married on December 14, 1780. Alex did, in fact, cheat on Eliza with Maria Reynolds. He did it while she was on a visit to her father with their children.
