1. Frankenstein is not the monster’s name.

The monster has no name! Frankenstein is actually the name of the scientist who made the monster.

2. The definition of hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.

(Pronounced as hip-oh-pot-toh-mun-stro-ses-kwip-ped-ahl-ee-o-pho-b-ee-a.) Wow! What a long word! This word has 36 letters, and its definition is very ironic. It means afraid of long words.

3. You’re pronouncing Dr. Seuss wrong.

You probably read at least one of his books and got stuck with one of his tongue twisters, but it might surprise you, you are saying his name wrong. His name is pronounced as Dr. Soice. It is supposed to rhyme with voice.

4. Tomato is a fruit. 

Yes, I am not lying. Tomatoes and some other so-called vegetables might be hiding their true identity from us. Fruits have seeds inside them. If you slice a tomato in half, you will see its seeds. So make sure your favorite vegetable is actually a vegetable.

5. Bulls can’t see red.

When you think about those lines, you think they are useless. Right? Well, rodents like to eat the paper, which they prefer in the corners of the paper. So, paper manufacturers made red lines for kids not to write there so their work would not get eaten! 

7. There is only one letter that doesn’t appear in any U.S. state name.

Can you guess it?… It’s the letter Q. Maybe this might be in one of your geography tests.

8. The Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story appeared in every Disney film following it.

9. Googol is the number one followed by one hundred zeros.

Mathematician Edward Kasner asked his nine-year-old nephew to come up with a name for the number one followed by one hundred zeros, and he came up with googol.
